The ICT directorate provide high level IT solutions to the Hungarian affiliates of KBC. We plan, establish and maintain the IT system of the Bank group. Our Central European data center provides high quality services to the members of the KBC group in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium and Ireland.

The international IT solutions of the banking group, covering several European countries, takes place with Hungarian and Belgian colleagues in Hungary and Belgium, therefore not only our services are international, but also our teams.
Our responsibilities range from day-to-day operation to application development and its operation.
We are constantly expanding the Hungarian side of the team, which is why we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated new employees with junior, medior or possibly senior work experience.


The Resource and Budget Management team works closely together with the Transformation Support team and is part of Application Development Services ART in the SIN department of IT. People are located in Ghent, Mechelen, Leuven and Hungary.
Next to the processes this team is also responsible for the tools to support the procedures we maintain. For the change of IT Financial processes we are looking for new tools to support these procedures and mindset.
In the past years, the Resource and Budget Management team has been changed a lot on the way of working of the (software) delivery organisation, IT and business. We’re moving from a more project based way of working to a product and solution based way of working.
With the start of 30 Agile release trains in the organization we made major progress towards the basics of a SAFe way of working. This has also impact on the financial IT processes which we onboarded recently. For supporting the organization we are looking for an ICT Controller.

What we expect from You:

  • Strong knowledge of using Microsoft O365 tools
  • SAP tool knowledge at least on a basic level
  • Good English communication skills both written and verbal


Your main responsibilities are:

  • Performing financial and controlling tasks requested by KBC
  • Preparation of budget planning , contribution in budget follow-up
  • Support budget control, financial reporting, monitoring
  • Reconciliation and monitoring of accruals
  • Regular content and logical control of the bookings recorded in the defined GL accounts
  • Follow-up and control of open purchase orders and invoices
  • Entering and checking the additional data (region code) required for the asset register
  • Provision of data for regular reports to the HCSO (“KSH”)
  • Participation and cooperation in the development of policies and procedures
  • Ensuring high quality of the processes, including the design and quality assurance
  • Any other duties not specified above, as assigned by the management.
