The international IT solutions of the banking group, covering several European countries, takes place with Hungarian and Belgian colleagues in Hungary and Belgium, therefore not only our services are international, but also our teams.
Our responsibilities range from day-to-day operation to application development and its operation.

You will join a mature and dynamic team of system engineers with a lot of experience within user network domain. Given the different domains managed within the team, learning opportunities are always available.
As a Systems Engineer, you will focus on the application side of the VPN and Wi-Fi infrastructure. You will be part of a systems engineering team that is responsible for a scalable, maintainable, highly available user network. Our team is responsible for end-user connectivity technologies like (SD)WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewalls. This for all Belgian sites and some international sites. The data center network is managed by another team.

What we expect from You:
- You like to investigate complex incidents, provide support during change projects.
- You perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes and security configurations.
- You monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- You monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- You work within an established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
- You select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team.
- You interact with vendors and other IT personnel to solve problems.
- You configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS)
Your key strengths?
- You have extended knowledge of Wi-Fi and/or LAN.
- Knowledge in more than one of the following domains is a plus: (SD)WAN, NAC, Firewalling, Cloud Integration and Scripting.
- You have a flexible mindset. You are prepared to participate in on-call duties and are open to implement changes outside business hours if required. You prioritize your work in function of incidents.
- You enjoy working as part of a team.
