Our responsibilities range from day-to-day operation to application development and its operation.

We are constantly expanding the Hungarian side of the team, which is why we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated new employees with junior, medior or possibly senior work experience.

 

Are you interested in contributing to the digital workplace of the future? We are looking for a motivated, energetic system engineer, preferably someone with knowledge of IT networks! As a system engineer you will become part of the virtual platform team. We ensure that applications can be offered virtually instead of on the end point itself.

 

What the team is doing:

  • Managing the backend Citrix infrastructure, creating, providing and maintaining the hosting infrastructure to deliver applications and virtual desktops towards our employees.
  • Building and managing the entrance towards the Citrix environment called NetScaler infrastructure. 
  • Implementation and management of security tools and components.
  • We need to support our environment with an on call system. You can be on call every 5-6 weeks. The chance of a call is limited. On average we have 2 calls a week but possibly at night or on the weekend.

What your job will be:

  • Providing 2nd and 3rd level support.
  • Troubleshooting and solving issues. 
  • Maintenance and system upgrades (including service packs, patches, hotfixes and security configurations.)
  • Monitoring system performance and ensure system availability and reliability. 
  • Monitoring system resource utilization including trends and capacity planning. 
  • Configuration and change management.
  • Ensuring awareness, approval and success of changes.
  • Implementing security tools, policies, and procedures with the security team. 
  • Interacting with vendors and other IT personnel to solve problems. 
  • Configuring and installing various devices and services.

What we expect from You:

  • Strong problem solving skills in Windows environment.
  • Strong computer networking skills.
  • Good knowledge of different operating systems.
  • Network security and system (e.g. F5, Cisco) technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Citrix and NetScaler is a plus.
  • Handle unforeseen circumstances and last-minute adjustments.
  • Work independently but enjoy working as part of an international team.

What you can expect during the recruitment process:

  • After sending your CV in English, expect a three-round interview process, one online with our local recruiter,  one online in English with the Belgian team leader, and the final round is in person at our office in Budapest (in Hungarian) to get to know each other better.
