Join our team!

KBC Group, the parent company of the Hungarian K&H Bank, is a leading European financial group with a focus on providing bank-insurance products and services to retail, private banking, SME and mid-cap clients, in our core countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Bulgaria.

The KBC Services and Infrastructure division (SIN) decided on a nearshore HR strategy based on 2 locations: the core internal workforce is based in Belgium and in Hungary. Therefore not only our services are international, but also our teams.

Our responsibilities range from day-to-day operation to application development and its operation.

We are constantly expanding the Hungarian side of the team, which is why we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated new employees with junior, medior or possibly senior work experience.

KBC group is currently creating a new big data platform in AWS. On top of the platform, we are building a platform that focuses on supporting data analytics and other technical computing workflows. You will participate in this effort, as a valuable team player, to analyse, design, and implement the platform in close collaboration with data scientists.

As a cloud platform engineer in a data analytics context, you are responsible for engineering a well architected data analytics platform with particular emphasis on interactive computing and highly automated model lifecycle management based on MLOps. Main considerations for the design include security, maintainability, flexibility, user-friendliness and integration between components on the platform.

You work closely with data scientists to understand their functional needs and translate them in an actual solution. Then, you rapidly iterate over the solution based on frequent feedback from data scientists.

Due to how the platform is used in the group, you are also responsible for documenting guidelines for future platform operators.
