The international IT solutions of the banking group, covering several European countries, takes place with Hungarian and Belgian colleagues in Hungary and Belgium, therefore not only our services are international, but also our teams.

Our responsibilities range from day-to-day operation to application development and its operation.

We are constantly expanding the Hungarian side of the team, which is why we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated new employees with junior, medior or possibly senior work experience.

 

Are you interested in contributing to the digital workplace of the future? We are looking for a motivated, energetic system engineer! As a system engineer you will become part of the virtual platform team. We ensure that applications can be offered virtually instead of on the end point itself.

 

What the team is doing:

  • Offering and managing corporate smartphones and laptops (Glow, Flex, Mac)
  • Managing the network used by employees and visitors at head office, international sites, bank offices and insurance agents.
  • Packaging and distributing applications.
  • Implementation and management of security tools and components on laptops and smartphones.
  • Within our team (virtual platform) we are looking for an ambitious colleague with Citrix experience to help us build up an operational team together with Near shore colleagues.
  • You need to ensure highquality and timely support, with a high focus on security with balance to the end customer satisfaction, and high degree of collaboration with the other KBC support teams.
  • You seek for definite solutions for issues and keep the number of incidents and problems under control.
  • We need to support our environment with an on call system. Your can be on call every 5-6 weeks. The chance of a call is limited. On average we have 2 calls a week but possibly at night or on the weekend.

 

 

What your job will be:

  • You provide 2nd level support.
  • You perform troubleshooting to resolve issues and problems.
  • Supported by 3rd line and you keep close contact in informing 1st line.
  • You have strong problem solving skills in a Windows environment, Citrix environment or network environment is big plus.
  • Good knowledge of security technologies with a view to integration, configuration and maintenance within a modern endpoint platform (Windows & Mobile devices (IOS & Android).
  • You perform maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes and security configurations. 
  • You monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability. 
  • You monitor system resource utilization, trends and capacity planning. 
  • You work within an established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes 
  • You select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the companys security team. 
  • You interact with vendors and other IT personnel to solve problems. 
  • You configure and install various devices and services.

  • Knowledge of operating systems.
  • Knowledge of network security technologies (Firewall, VPN) is a benefit.

What you can expect during the recruitment process:

  • After sending your CV in English, expect a three-round interview process, one online with our local recruiter,  one online in English with the Belgian team leader, and the final round is in person at our office in Budapest (in Hungarian) to get to know each other better.
