KBC Bank, the parent company of the Hungarian K&H Bank, provides banking services in 5 European countries.

The international IT solutions of the banking group, covering several European countries, takes place with Hungarian and Belgian colleagues in Hungary and Belgium, therefore not only our services are international, but also our teams.

Our responsibilities range from day-to-day operation to application development and its operation.

We are constantly expanding the Hungarian side of the team, which is why we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated new employees with junior, medior or possibly senior work experience.

As a packager you will be part of the Applications team. 

The main activity of the Applications team is to provide all kinds of applications (native installed applications, virtualized applications, web-based applications) to the end-users within the KBC group .

The whole lifecycle process starts with a request of the application by a responsible Application Manager and ends with delivering the application to the end users. 

What your job will be:

• To implement the workplace of the future for our end customer.
• Use modern technologies to deliver applications. These technologies consist of an app layering or modern virtualization tool, that can deliver applications using Citrix and Intune technology.
• We want to implement best practices to deliver our applications (MSI-X, Microsoft Store, container applications, MSI, etc.)
• You will be part of the team that will create these applications, create unattended installations and solve application issues, and all this within a strict security framework.

What we expect from You:

• Very good knowledge of the different OS environments: Windows 10 and 11 client, Citrix servers, Windows server 2016-2022. 
• Knowledge of MSI packaging, APP-V packaging, MSI-X technology. 
• Good knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD. 
• Knowledge of different deployment tools (Intune, SCCM) 
• Scripting knowledge: VBS or PowerShell. 
• Knowledge of packaging tools (Wise Package Studio, Advanced Installer) is an advantage.
• Microsoft Defender and AppLocker knowledge. 
• You are a team player.
• You are known with problem analytics and how to solve them. 
• You provide very good documentation in English. 
• You can deliver and act in a high pressure environment. 
• You have knowledge of ‘safe and agile’, using ALM tools like Jira or Confluence. 
• You have a ‘security first’ mindset.
