KBC Group, the parent company of the Hungarian K&H Bank, is a leading European financial group with a focus on providing bank-insurance products and services to retail, private banking, SME and mid-cap clients, in our core countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Bulgaria. The KBC Services and Infrastructure division (SIN) decided on a nearshore HR strategy based on 2 locations: the core internal workforce is based in Belgium and in Hungary. Therefore not only our services are international, but also our teams. Our responsibilities range from day-to-day operation to application development and its operation. We are constantly expanding the Hungarian side of the team, which is why we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated new employees with junior, medior or possibly senior work experience.
What the team is doing:
The team is mainly responsible for software life cycle management (BladeLogic) automation and scheduling (UAC).
Our team's main focus is on infrastructure automation, hence most of our daily tasks are:
- Building the virtual private infrastructure from scratch to a fully configured and functioning infrastructure.
- Creating and maintaining the software package deployment process itself.
- Maintaining the SLCM and scheduling infrastructure for security patches and timely run scripts, new versions.
- Supporting other teams during the deployments/if error occurs.
In bigger perspective, we do our best to use the most advanced technology, therefore we also do:
- Migrating our legacy workloads to fully IAC compatible way.
- Broadening our technical knowledge.
- Documenting, integrating and sharing our workloads to other teams.

What we expect from you:
- System or DevOps engineer with strong scripting skills (any or all of: Python; Bash; PowerShell)
- Experience in SLCM automation tools (any of: Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipeline management tools (any of: Jenkins, Bamboo)
- Experience in Git version controlling and collaborating tools (any of: BitBucket, GitHub, Azure DevOps)
- System engineering experience in Windows and Linux environment.
- Experience in a large corporate environment.
- Eager to learn attitude.
- As part of and international team, good communication skills in English is a must.
- Providing 24/7 continuity, need to be ready to take on-call duties.
