We have data centers in Hungary (Törökbálint and Baracska) and Belgium (Mechelen and Leuven). An international team of experts ensures that these four data centers work optimally every day:
Our Group Datacenter Network Team focuses on switching & routing and DDI.
Our Group Datacenter Network Security Team works on firewalling
Our Group Datacenter Network Application Delivery Team works on load balancing, volumetric ddos protection, secure web gateways and network management/visibility.
Because all teams work closely together, you come into contact with all these aspects.
Your focus will be on LB/DDOS/SWG: Load Balancing, Volumetric DDOS protection and Secure Web Gateways.
You not only contribute to the daily management of components/systems/networks, but are also involved in numerous projects. This way you can immediately use your expertise and you can quickly deepen it further.
What your job will be:
- Together with business stakeholders (your internal customers), IT architects and system engineers from other teams, you play an important role in infrastructure and security projects. Your contribution ranges from analysis and design to implementation and testing.
- Within the network teams, we expect everyone to have a CCNA/CCNP alike overall basic knowledge, and to be specialized in at least one field. You are a knowledgeable in Load Balancing and volumetric DDOS protection using F5 technology, on different levels of the technology (infrastructure setup, network design and actual object configurations).
- You are involved in the day-to-day management of various telecommunication and security components. Think of setup, configuration, capacity management, following up on new versions or functionalities, resolving security risks or integrating components into our current infrastructure.
- You will explore new technological possibilities. Is there an opportunity to improve or automate the way we work? You spotted it.
- You analyze problems so that incidents are solved and we continuously improve our domain.
- You will work on a self-servicing offering for our (internal) clients, reducing the amount of day-to-day work and giving you more focus on the new and challenging tasks.
- Together with your colleagues, you work in a rotational role to provide on call support outside office hours.
- Gradually you take on more responsibility, for example design tasks.

What we expect from you:
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in IT or a number of years of relevant experience. And you are looking forward to (further) expanding your career within the domain network & security.

- You have knowledge of / experience with:
- F5: LTM/DNS(GSLB only), system & app services automation (Ansible/AS3), AFM/DHD (L3-L4 DDOS), …
- Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (or equivalent forward proxy mgmt knowledge on other platforms like BlueCoat, zScaler, ...)
- Ideally, you are also well acquainted with more than one of these topics:
- Firewalling, DMZ setup and DNS
- Troubleshooting
- Routing & switching, basic networking services at the level of a large enterprise
- Scripting (Ansible, Python, Perl, Java, ..)
- Authentication and authorization mechanisms and frameworks

- After sending your CV in English, expect a two-round interview process, one online in English with the Belgian team leader, and the other at our office in Budapest (in Hungarian) to get to know each other better
