KBC Bank, the parent company of the Hungarian K&H Bank, provides banking services in 5 European countries. The international IT solutions of the banking group, covering several European countries, takes place with Hungarian and Belgian colleagues in Hungary and Belgium, therefore not only our services are international, but also our teams. Our responsibilities range from day-to-day operation to application development and its operation. We are constantly expanding the Hungarian side of the team, which is why we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated new employees with junior, medior or possibly senior work experience.

The cross-team scripting expert provides scripts for backend servers and in addition to the technical knowledge of the Unix/Linux OS and scripting (Python scripting and all Unix scripting flavors), technical knowledge of the Windows OS and scripting (PowerShell Scripting) is also required.

What we expect from You:

• Knowledgeable in cross-team working.
• Experience in documenting in Confluence.
• Having worked in a DevOps & DevSecOps context.
• Be able to use existing code.
• Be able to refactor code.
• Be able to use and build modules in PowerShell and in Python.
• Hands on experience with Windows task scheduler, Windows AD (Active Directory) and Citrix Environment.
• PowerShell skills: hands on experience with AD cmdlet’s, CITRIX cmdlet’s.
• Python skills: hands on experience with configurations (like JSON), network communication modules (like NETMIKO)
• Extra but not mandatory: C# (c-sharp) and .NET programming experience.
• Fluent English.
• Be highly motivated and willing to script team borderless.
• Be able to prioritize scripting tasks: excel in time management.
• Have a result oriented focus: solving scripting issues in a timely fashion.
• Use networking skills: continuously and actively seek and find opportunities to automate using scripting.
• Continuously build maturity in scripting skills.
• Embrace a positive attitude towards innovation: be eager to learn new scripting techniques or scripting tools on a continuously basis. 

What you can expect during the recruitment process:

• After sending your CV in English, expect a three-round interview process, one online with our local recruiter,  one online in English with the Belgian team leader, and the final round is in person at our office in Budapest (in Hungarian) to get to know each other better.
